Communicating science Dannevirke
Students were fully involved in converting their scientific knowledge into communication that will benefit their peers and wider community. Their work on our freshwater stream was featured in their April High school newsletter, whilst a larger display was created for the Tararua district library in the month of July.
Dannevirke south students also had the opportunity to showcase their displays at the local library and school. With a focus on riparian planting and its benefits, students utilised drones to map out the area of the farm they would be planted.
