Marewa students were very focused as they tackled coding around a series of geometric shapes. It was wonderful seeing them discuss angles and apply that learning to coding.

As part of their Matariki celebration, their tree planting occurred around the school grounds. The enthusiasm of tamariki was wonderful. It was such an enjoyable experience as they demonstrated kaitiaki. Trees release oxygen that helps us breathe and traps carbon dioxide that we expel into the atmosphere. Their choice of 40 natives were deliberately chosen to ensure a cleaner, greener environment for our youth at school.
