Mrs. Kirkland explained that the Herb Farm has been creating 100% natural products for over 29 years. What started as a small seed in a little paddock, has indeed turned into a mighty tree spreading across various nations.

Enthusiastic young mums were willing to share their experiences of daily products they utilise on themselves and their baby and learn about the range of alternative creams, lotions, facial masks and oils that are better for the environment and their skin.

Environmental Choice is New Zealand's Ecolabel, providing “a credible and independent standard to guide people who want to purchase and use products that are proven to be better for the environment:” Whilst, it is endorsed by the NZ government, the firm operates independently and provides information so that consumers can select a range of diverse products that are not harmful to the environment. “Environmental Choice operates to internationally recognised standards and principles, and is a member of GEN, the Global Ecolabelling Network, which links a world of environmentally preferable products and services”.

Empowering rangatahi to become more eco-wise and choose eco-friendly products is another step to ensuring that together we create a more sustainable future for the next generation.
