PTC Trust partnered with Mr Abbott from the Noel Leeming Group to equip our youth to apply coding to drone flights. Undeniably, learning computer coding is an important skill both now and in the future. That’s because almost every industry relies on some form of computer programming to run operations and activities.

Tying our coding workshop to native tree planting was high on our agenda as our rangatahi were poised to celebrate Matariki. Students were keen to attempt navigation of the drones and enjoyed planting a range of Corynocarpus laevigatus- Karaka and Meryta sinclairii- Puka around their school grounds.
