Rangatahi @Hamilton had a fun day with Robotics as PTC delivered another collaborative workshop with Waikato University facilitators.

The boys were very alert and completed the problem-solving task very efficiently. Could these young minds be the key to future-proofing success? Interestingly AI tools are fast becoming the primary topic of discussion as our youth are seeing the ways AI tools can enhance productivity.

One such tool students were aware of was ChatGPT, developed by Open AI. Firat (2023) in the Journal of Applied Learning and Teaching investigated the perception of scholars and students to Chat GPT. His result highlighted both ‘the transformative potential of AI technologies and the need to minimize potential risks and unintended consequences.
