PTC’s kaupapa to empower rangatahi with programming and computational thinking skills was well supported by staff and students alike. The boys were full of enthusiasm and thoroughly engaged with the challenge they were provided with.

There seemed to be a definite unspoken declaration of competition in the air, with a few teams working at pace to have their robot operational in an hour. By the first interval, all except one robot was operational just needing the batteries to be imputed. They were ready for the next challenge!!

The boys rose to the challenge to extend their learning with a more advanced activity.

It was a joy seeing the teams working hard together and being encouraged by teachers and staff alike to accomplish the tasks set.
