Robotics with Waikato Uni -Hastings
PTC ran another successful workshop, this time for Hastings students.
Learning coding and programming can be quite a challenge, but our Hawkesbay rangatahi rose to the task through a series of trial and error; mistakes and success. Together we saw how learning to control a physical robot is not as easy as we think. We learnt about the need for precise instructions, precise conditions and specific decisions having to be made along the way. The iterative process thought the students more about life and its challenges equally as it did about robotic, programming, science and design.
Thank you to the amazing team that enabled our students to learn and appreciate the value that robotics and mechatronics bring to society.
